The CPA was delighted to be a breakfast sponsor at the recent Rural Ontario Municipal Association Conference in Toronto last week. The CPA and members attended the event to advocate for affordable, low-emission home energy for the province’s Indigenous, rural and remote communities.
The CPA attended the World Liquid Gas Association’s Innovation Summit in Washington D.C. on Feb. 20, 2024, which brought together key industry leaders worldwide to debate and discuss critical topics for the propane industry, including the opportunities for commercializing renewable propane. CPA’s President & CEO Shannon Watt participated in a panel on innovation through government policy at the summit.
Rob Loenhart had the opportunity to tour some Eastern Ontario facilities. Brian Boucher of MacEwen Petroleum, and Christian Levac of Propane Levac gave Rob an educational tour of their Maxville and Ste Isidore facilities – always great to visit members!
Katie Kachur was on the road with CPA member Rob Barrow, president of Eco-Pro Services Inc. Propane is unique compared to other alternative or low-emission energy sources because it can be delivered anywhere in Canada. Rob and Katie are supplying energy to an Ecopro customer located in one of the province’s remote mountain resorts.
