The CPA Student Scholarship, valued between $1000 – $1500, is sponsored by the International Association of Young Gassers, Inc. This scholarship is a member benefit and is provided to family members or employees of CPA-member companies who are planning/pursuing post-secondary education at a Canadian vocational or trade school, community college, or university.

The CPA offers a $2500 student bursary sponsored by Diversco Supply Inc. to honor the memory of Wendell King, a long-time advocate of the propane industry. Wendell dedicated his career of over 30 years to supporting the propane industry in Canada. He was a humble leader who was passionate about supporting customers and their businesses. Wendell also played a key role working with propane retailers, technicians, contractors, and manufacturers to provide best-in-class training and support for the industry. He passed away on October 18, 2020.
Applicants of the Wendell King Memorial Bursary must be planning a career in the propane industry and pursuing post-secondary education at a Canadian vocational or trade school, community college, or university. Being associated with a member of the CPA is not a requirement.
