OTTAWA, June 30, 2023 — Carbon tax projections show that low-emission propane will continue to be the best option for heating in Atlantic Canadians’ homes says the Canadian Propane Association.
Wallace, NS, May 31, 2023 – With the escalating cost of carbon-intense fuels such as heating oil, gasoline and diesel scheduled for July 1, the premiers of Atlantic Canada should focus on expanding the opportunity for affordable, low-emission propane energy, according to members of the Atlantic Committee of the Canadian Propane Association (CPA).

When compared to traditional sources, propane immediately reduces GHG emissions, improves indoor air quality, and has no land contamination threats when spilled.
