The Canadian Institute’s 11th Annual Alberta Power Symposium returns to Calgary on September 27 – 28, 2023. This premier industry event will bring together top-level executives from the energy sector, government representatives, advisors, indigenous communities, and leading industry experts.
CPA’s Katie Kachur is presenting at 2:45 pm in the New Technologies Towards Decarbonization section, titled, Propane as an Alternate Fuel Source: Propane as part of a climate change solution that is produced in Canada and available now: exploring propane as a low carbon energy source that can complement renewables.
This year’s symposium will focus on plans for transitioning to low emission resources and explore the latest technologies in reliable, sustainable, and cost-effective energy. With the global shift towards cleaner and more sustainable energy sources, Alberta is at a crucial juncture in its power sector. The symposium will delve into critical topics such as renewable energy integration, decarbonization strategies, grid modernization, regulatory frameworks, investment opportunities, and the role of emerging technologies in driving Alberta’s energy transition.
