Propane Pulse National Propane Day demonstrates the power of our voices

Canada’s inaugural National Propane Day which took place on March 21 was a great success! It was the CPA’s most effective and largest social media campaign to date, helping us promote propane and amplify our lobby day efforts for Propane on the Hill that also took place on that day.

The CPA’s National Propane Day marketing campaign started at the end of February, increasing momentum to lead up to the actual day. Through a social media campaign (organic and paid), a news release, an email campaign to targeted parliamentarians and CPA associates, and collaborating with our partners for stories about propane and marketing support, we had a potential reach of over 125,000 viewers.

Of significance, this campaign saw the most extensive involvement from CPA members to date in a social media promotion – thank you for helping us advocate propane to decision-makers and the public across Canada. You are critical in helping us spread the word and engage with/influence a large audience base. Your participation demonstrates the power of our voices when we all work together.

This was just the first year, and we are looking forward to amplifying our messages through increased participation for the next 2024 National Propane Day!
